Vintage Pewter Beer Tankard – “The Blackbird Inn 1785” (1970’s)

Available is a pewter beer tankard stamped “The Blackbird Inn 1785”. This was manufactured in the 70’s by the Carson Casting Co. of Freeport, Pennsylvania. Maker’s mark and co. stamp embossed on the handle. There is a Blackbird Inn in Napa, CA. but it was founded in the 19th century although this stein appears to be associated with it (???). Heavy, sturdy this mug has been raised a few times with some wear on the main stamp. Nice piece for a collection.
