Rare Vintage Quaker Oats NHL Hockey Photo-Maurice R ichard

This is a rare vintage photo of Maurice Richard dating from the late 1940’s from the Quaker Oats promotion which ran between 1945 and 1954. During this period Quaker Oats continued its tradition of redeeming proofs of purchase for photos of the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs. This signed glossy action photo measures 8″ by 10″ with a thin white border and has a few minor creases. It is sleeved in a protective clear plastic folder and has a blank back with no markings. This rare black and white photo would be a nice addition to a vintage hockey collection. Rocket Richard played 18 seasons (1942-1960) and is in the Hockey Hall of Fame and was a cultural icon in Quebec.
